Was definieren wir als kulturell oder historisch? Welche Objekte sind Teil einer kollektiven Ikonologie des „Kulturellen“? Was nehmen wir als wertvoll oder erachtenswert wahr? Welche kulturellen Güter definieren wir als „authentisch“ Die Serie stellt eine Konstruktion von Objekten dar, die aus dem archetypischen, „kulturellen“ Feld entstammen, wie Porzellan, Stoff, Marmor, Stein., die in ein Spiel von Oberfläche und Material gestellt werden, das Klichées visueller Repräsentationen von Kultur dekonstruieren soll.

What do we define as cultural or historic? Which objects are part of the collective iconology of the "cultural"? What do we conceive as worthy and precious? Which items do we define as "authentic"? The series displays a construction of objects which arise from a archetypal, „cultural“ field like porcelain, fabric, marble, stone,... entering in a game of surface and materiality, which attempts to deconstruct the visual representation of culture.
